Himilkon (general)
Himilkon was a Carthaginian general .
Life
It is reported that Himilkon was born in 406/405 BC. BC tried to gain dominion over Sicily. After an outbreak of an epidemic, however, he was forced to make a comparison with Dionysius I of Syracuse . 396/397 BC He landed again in Sicily, and failed again - again due to a plague that struck his army - in front of Syracuse . His army was destroyed by Dionysius.
