Hiroshi Ishiguro ( Japanese 石 黒 浩 , Ishiguro Hiroshi ; born October 23, 1963 ) is a Japanese robotics scientist .

Life

He is the director of the Intelligent Robotics Laboratory in the Department of Adaptive Machine Systems ( 知能 ・ 機能 創 成 工 学 専 攻 ) at Osaka University . He develops androids such as B. Repliee Q1 . At a conference at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich , he stated that “his machine doppelganger 'Geminoid' [.] Is already a very good play partner for his five-year-old daughter” .
