Historischer Kraftverkehr (HiK) is a German trade magazine about historic commercial vehicles . In 1982 it was the first German specialist journal in this field under the title Elefant . The magazine has had its current title since 1984. It is published by Verlag Klaus Rabe Willich with a print run of 18,000 copies.
The main focus of the magazine is on extensive historical accounts of the manufacturers of commercial vehicles, portraits of haulage companies and reports on the technology of old commercial vehicles and trucks. The images used are often unique and in many cases have never been published. There will also be reports on the classic car scene and the meetings of classic commercial vehicles. The HiK also offers tractor and utility vehicle models in various scales.
From 2007 to 2011 the special issue Blue Light about old fire brigade , medical , ambulance , police , civil defense and similar official vehicles appeared at the HiK at irregular intervals .
The trade journal Historischer Kraftverkehr publishes its entire range of magazines, books and commercial vehicle models on the Internet , which can be ordered directly there. In the online service there are links to other associations and the other subject areas of historical motor transport.
