The Historical and Ethnographic Museum Sarny ( Ukrainian Сарненський історико-етнографічний музей ) is a since 1974 existing folklore museum with open-air part in the Ukrainian town of Sarny , Rivne Oblast . It is a branch of the Rivne Regional Museum and has more than 7000 exhibits in the fields of textiles, housewares, handicrafts and art.

In 1978 the museum was enlarged by an open-air section and the following buildings were built:

  • a simple homestead
  • a poor farmer's house
  • a forge
  • a chapel from the 18th century
  • a windmill from the end of the 19th century

The museum exhibits works by local artists and folk art carvers and celebrates a folk art festival every spring.
