High voltage line to Zhoushan Island
The high-voltage line to the island of Zhoushan is a 220 kV line to the Chinese island of Zhoushan that was built between 2009 and 2010 . It runs over several islands. South of the island of Damao it has the longest span with a width of 2700 meters and uses the second highest high-voltage pylons in the world with a height of 370 meters and a weight of 5,999 tons. A few kilometers north of it, a 380-meter-high mast was completed in 2018 for another high-voltage line between Zhoushan and Ningbo .
