Hoetmar coat of arms

The Hoetmar coat of arms

The Hoetmar coat of arms reminds of the creation of Hoetmar . The golden eagle is the Rietberger eagle. As is well known, the parish was founded by the Counts of Rietberg. Half an eagle at the crack is a good old coat of arms custom. The palm branch as a symbol of the martyrs refers to Saint Lambertus of Liège as the patron of the church.
