The court chapel in Friesenhof is a listed building and was awarded the monument protection medal in 2014.

It is under the file number: D-3-75-118-23 in the Bavarian list of monuments of the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments (BLfD), with the wording: Court chapel, gable hall building with retracted apse, crooked hip roof and roof turret with pointed roof, neo-Gothic, 1904 ; registered with equipment . It is also included in the list of architectural monuments in Beratzhausen .

location

The building is located in the hamlet of Friesenhof, Haag district, Beratzhausen municipality. It is richly endowed.

history

The court chapel was built in 1903 and 1904.
The parish church administration demanded 400 gold marks to be deposited in order to ensure long-term preservation. In the last few years the building fell into disrepair. The roof was leaking and the penetrating water caused serious damage.

Redevelopment

building

The renovation of the building began in 2011. Serious damage was found to the roof structure, floor, masonry, plaster and painting and to the statics. Well-preserved areas were restored, the windows, the doors and the floor, the roof structure and the roof covering were repaired. Lost plaster was replaced by plaster of the same structure.

altar

The high altar of the court chapel was outsourced. It was restored and placed in the choir again. The two-winged altar shows the Mother of God with Child Jesus in the middle , St. Florian on one wing and St. Leonhard on the other wing .
