Holger Meyer-Ricks

Holger Meyer-Ricks (born July 20, 1945 in Hameln ) is a German politician (CDU). From 1970 to 1974 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Meyer-Ricks attended high school in Bad Nenndorf. He attended the municipal commercial schools in Hameln and graduated from the Hameln Business School. He was already politically active in school. He was chairman of the Lower Saxony political working group for high schools. After graduating from high school, he studied law and political science at the University of Bonn . From January 1970 he was employed there as a research assistant. He joined the CDU and the Junge Union and became state treasurer of the Junge Union Lower Saxony and deputy district chairman of the CDU Hameln. He was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in his 7th electoral term and was a member of the state parliament from June 21, 1970 to June 20, 1974. From March 1974 he belonged to the state parliament only as a non-attached member.
