Hollywood Suite is a Canadian, English-language, Category B television station with headquarters in Toronto , Ontario , Canada . The station is operated by Hollywood Suite. It used to be called the MGM Channel. The broadcaster mainly broadcasts various self-produced films from the Metro Goldwyn Mayer portfolio as well as Canadian films, exclusively in HDTV . No commercial breaks are broadcast during a film, the broadcaster limits itself to commercials between films. In addition to MGM Channel, other sister stations had also started operations at the time. Including Hollywood Festival , Hollywood Storm andWarnerFilms .

On July 2, 2010, Hollywood Suite received a total of four of the Category 2 television licenses from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). The station started broadcasting on November 23, 2011 after several delays.
