Holyland Park
Holyland Park is a modern complex of buildings in the district Bait Vagan in Jerusalem , Israel . Several hundred luxury apartments are currently being built here, consisting of two to six rooms. The entire complex consists of six connected eight to twelve-story residential towers, some of which are still under construction, as well as a 32-story tower, the Holyland Tower, which is also not yet complete . The entire residential complex is built in a nested architecture, so that each apartment and especially the large penthouses have the largest possible outdoor area. By September 1, 2010, 642 of a total of 969 apartments had been built.
Architects are the engineering offices Tishby-Rozio from Tel Aviv / Jaffa and Meir Klein Engineering . Holyland Park Ltd. is the client and administrator.
Corruption allegations
The project is at the center of allegations of corruption around the approval of the same. In the course of this, several prominent Israeli politicians were indicted, including former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert . Bribes of $ 15 million are said to have flowed, making the scandal one of the largest in Israeli history.
