Holzheim (Hirschlanden)

Holzheim is a deserted area on the outskirts of the Hirschlanden district of the city of Ditzingen .

The desert site is located west of today's village of Hirschlanden. The settlement is called Holtzhain around 1350 and 1381 . The Holzheim path appears in 1424 . The field name Holzemer Grund refers to the place name to this day , which is documented in the Leonberg official register as early as 1525/29.

The statue of the Hirschland warrior was found in the Holzheim corridor in 1963 .
