The museum for dolls and toys is located at Alten Gasse 28 in Bad Münstereifel in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

The museum is housed in a two-story half-timbered house built around 1780. After almost 3 years of conversion and renovation, it was opened on April 5, 2003.

collection

Wooden miniatures from the 19th and 20th centuries are shown on two floors. The collection shows animals, figurines, nutcrackers and smokers . There are also cities, knight castles, tin soldiers, pyramids, tin toys and entire farms. In addition, the house has an extensive collection of wax dolls from the 18th century, porcelain and celluloid dolls, dollhouses and dollhouses.
