The Home Islands are an uninhabited Australian archipelago in the Coral Sea . They are directly in front of Cape Grenville in the Australian state of Queensland and consist of about ten islands or rocks.
With the exception of the sparsely overgrown main island of Hicks Island , the islands in the group are almost completely devoid of vegetation.
