Hoodwink Island (English for Island of Deception ) is an island off the Loubet coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 1.5 km east of the Arrowsmith Peninsula in Lallemand Fjord .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped them on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs from the years 1955 to 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1959. The fact that they were surveyed and the investigation of their geological composition made errors .
