Horst Büchler

Horst Büchler (born July 17, 1907 in Dickiauten , Pillkallen district , East Prussia ; † August 19, 2000 ) was a German farmer and politician ( Farmer's Party ).

Life

After Büchler had passed his Abitur, he began with an agricultural apprenticeship and then completed a degree in law and political science and economics. After completing his studies, he took a job as a court trainee, from which he left in 1934 to take over his father's farm. After the end of the war, he became a cultivation inspector at the district administration in 1945. Between 1946 and 1948 he was managing director of the price agricultural office in Gandersheim and was then without work for six months. Between March and November 1949 he was employed as an auditor at the State Food Office and subsequently as a consultant at the Association of Lower Saxony Rural People.

He was a co-founder of the Central Association of Expelled Germans (ZvD). He became the first district chairman as well as district settlement officer and deputy chairman of the state agricultural committee of the ZvD. Büchler was a member of the district council and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from May 6, 1951 to May 5, 1955 (2nd electoral period). He was a member of the BHE parliamentary group until July 17, 1952, but initiated the parliamentary group Abgg. From July 18, 1952 to March 18, 1953. Büchler u. Gene. Between March 19, 1953 and September 1, 1953, he belonged to the group German Reichspartei (1950) (DRP) and was subsequently non-attached until October 7, 1953. From October 8, 1953, he belonged to the Mitte faction and founded it finally on September 1, 1954 the Farmers' Party (LP).

Since 1928 he was a member of the Corps Makaria Munich .
