Farmers party

The farmers party (also LP, LwP, LandwP, LdwP) was a German party in Lower Saxony .

history

The splinter party , constituted on September 1, 1954, was aimed as a party of interests at the farming community . Horst Büchler , member of the Lower Saxony state parliament , was one of the founders ; Heinrich Stulle (previously the German party ) was chairman . The small party was admitted to the election of the 3rd Lower Saxony State Parliament in 1955 in 33 of 66 districts, but could not win any seats. On February 15, 1956, she joined the German Reich Party , which set up agricultural committees at all party levels.
