Corselet
A corselet is a bodice shirt that reaches under the buttocks , is often provided with suspenders and is therefore only worn under dresses and skirts. One variant is the pant corselet, which is closed in the crotch like a body . In some cases, bodysuits cannot be clearly distinguished from pant corselets. In contrast to the undershirt, it is supposed to beautify the figure , analogous to the pantyhose . In general, it is a women's garment.
material
Corselets are mostly made of polyamide (nylon) and elastane (Lycra).
cut
The bra cups are incorporated into the part, which is why it is also specified in bra sizes (for example: 85D). There are also corselets with a large neckline and no cups, with which a separate bra can be worn. The stomach area is often reinforced with additional layers of fabric to make the stomach appear flatter. Often the upper front can be closed with a hook strip and an additional zipper over it. To make it easier to go to the toilet, the trouser corselet can be opened at the crotch with a hook strip or split gusset .
Colours
Plain black, white, and skin tones are common. There are also strong dark colors (burgundy, navy).
