Hosids

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hosiden plug shape is named after the Japanese manufacturer Hoshiden KK ( ホ シ デ ン 株式会社 , ~ Kabushiki-gaisha ). It is one of the mini-DIN connections.

Hosiden connectors are used, among other things, for S-Video connections (Y / C-Video). Since only video signals are transmitted, the audio connection must be made via a separate cable (usually cinch ).

The connector has a diameter of 8.95 mm at the front.
