Hosjö [ 'huɧœ ] is a neighborhood and a church ( församling ) in Falun in Sweden . The district is the easternmost of the city and consists mainly of single-family houses and occasionally of multi-family houses with a total of around 3000 inhabitants (2005). It is located between the lakes Hosjön and Runn .

The parish ( socken ) was spun off from the parish Vita and the associated church was initially only intended as a chapel for the parish Vita. The chapel of Hosjö is on the edge of the district and was built in 1663 as a falun red wooden church. It was not until the 1970s that the chapel became a church.
