Hospital Policial

The Policial Hospital is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

The building, which was built in 1977 as a result of a competition for its construction, the first phase of which was inaugurated in 1980, is located in the Barrio Mercado Modelo y Bolívar at Bulevar José Batlle y Ordoñez 3574, corner of Avenida José P. Varela . The architects H. Benech , M. Marzano , Thomas sprachmann and Arturo Villaamil were responsible for the construction. The construction corresponds to the widespread architectural ideas at the time of its creation. The hospital of the same name is housed in the building.
