The Hotel Decebal is a hotel in the Romanian spa town of Baile Herculane (Herculane). The building is a listed building .

The building was built in 1865 under the name Franz-Josef-Hotel .

The ghost from the Hotel Decebal

Legend has it that under Hotel Decebal there is a treasure from the time of the Ancient Romans . There were treasure hunters from around the world here, which, using metal detectors , proved the existence of a large amount of gold. When they started digging, they were surprised by the figure of a woman in a white dress chasing the treasure hunters out of the building.

This figure appeared more than once, each time looking the same. It is said that she is the guardian of the treasure, but others think it is a Dacian priest.
