The Hotel Dom Henrique (right)

The Hotel Dom Henrique is a four-star hotel in the Portuguese city of Porto . It was built to designs by the two architects Pádua Ramos and Carlos Loureiro and inaugurated in 1973. It is named after the Portuguese Infant D. Henrique .

The building was originally designed as an office building. It was only shortly before completion that the client Afonso Pinto de Magalhães decided to set up a hotel of the upper category.

The house gains its importance because of its urban development function and as the first high-rise in the city made of concrete.
