Hotel UNO 1

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hotel UNO 1 in Großbettlingen was Germany's first designer and artist hotel . The hotel, founded in 1993, was intended to appeal to the design-conscious guests of the nearby fashion metropolis of Metzingen . The name UNO1 justifies the request of investors to establish more houses with this artistic claim. The hotel was sold to the Centro Gruppe Hamburg on August 1, 2019.

The hotel is furnished with original works by many artists on loan from a private collector. Among them in particular early works by the Berlin artist Rainer Langfeldt, born in 1950 .
