Rainer Langfeldt

Rainer Langfeldt (* 1950 in Waldshut ) is a German painter .

Life

Rainer Langfeldt came to Stuttgart from Waldshut when he was four . There he studied from 1969 to 1971 at the State Academy of Fine Arts . Langfeldt then moved to Berlin , where he finished his studies at the University of Fine Arts . There he was Martin Engelmann's master student in 1976 .

In 1982 he received a three-month scholarship in the Villa Massimo in Olevano and in 1982/83 the Karl Hofer scholarship in Berlin. In 1986 he received the second highest award of the Berlin art prize “The 5 Senses”.

Today Rainer Langfeldt lives as a freelance artist in Berlin and at times at his country estate on Lake Constance .
