Hottinger, Brüel & Kjær (HBK) is a manufacturer of high-precision sound and vibration measuring devices and emerged from the merger of Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik (HBM) and Brüel & Kjaer Sound & Vibration (BKSV) on January 1, 2019. Both companies have been part of the British Spectris PLC group of companies since 2000 and retained their headquarters in Germany and Denmark after the merger.
