Hṛṣṭa (pronounced: Hrsch-ta, Sanskrit हृष्ट) is a Canadian band from Montreal , Québec .
Her style is characterized by psychedelic elements and can best be described as post-rock . The band was formed in 2000 by Mike Moya, founding member of Godspeed You! Black Emperor , founded. The members of the band are also active in other projects on the Montreal music scene. So far, Hṛṣṭa have released three albums and achieved a certain degree of popularity in Europe, especially through intensive touring.
