Huang Qing jingjie

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Huang Qing jingjie ( Chinese  皇 清 经 解  - "" Classical explanation of the sublime Qing "") is a compilation ( congshu ) published by Ruan Yuan阮元 (1764–1849) in the years 1825–1829 , which is an important collection of comments on the classical Confucian works from his time. Ruan Yuan was the most important editor of works of Confucian research during the governments of Qianlong乾隆 (1736–1795) and Jiaqing嘉慶 (1796–1820), the so-called Qian Jia school 乾嘉 學派 . He has also published a text-critical edition of the traditional commentaries and sub-commentaries on the Thirteen Canonical Books (Shisan jing), the Shisanjing zhushu jiaokanji十三 經 注疏 校勘 記 (see Shisanjing zhushu ).

Huang Qing jingjie xubian

A sequel published by Wang Xianqian (1842-1917) in 1888 appeared under the title Huang Qing jingjie xubian皇 清 经 解 续编 (see there). A more recent, critical catalog on Huang Qing jingjie and its sequel (xubian 续编) makes it relatively easy to use.
