Huang Tingjian

Huang Tingjian (Chinese: 黄庭堅, * 1045 ; † 1105 ) was a calligrapher of the Chinese Song Dynasty , who is also known for his poems and painting.

He is one of the four masters of the Song era and was Su Shi's most famous student as a literary painter.

Huang Tingjian is considered one of the 24 examples of filial filial piety , as he himself, as a high official, cleaned his old mother's chamber pot.
