Huang Yan (born January 12, 1996 ) is a Chinese hurdler who specializes in the 400 meter distance .

Athletic career

Huang Yan gained her first international experience at the 2018 Asian Games in the Indonesian capital Jakarta , where she finished fourth in 57.48 s. The following year, she finished seventh in 58.29 s at the Asian Championships in Doha .

In 2017 and 2018, Huang became Chinese champion in the 400-meter hurdles. She graduated from Soochow University in Suzhou .
