Hubertus Kramer (born November 3, 1959 in Lenhausen ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since June 8, 2005.

Life

Kramer graduated from high school in 1978 and did an internship from 1980 to 1981. From 1982 to 1989 he worked as an editor and then, until he moved into the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia in 2005, as head of the press and information office of the city of Hagen. At the same time he was head of the office of the mayor of the city of Hagen from 1997 to 1999. Kramer is married and has one child.

Kramer has been a member of the SPD since 1982. From 2000 to 2018 he was chairman of the SPD city association Gevelsberg and since 2001 deputy chairman of the Ennepe-Ruhr sub-district. From 1994 to 2014 he was a member of the council of Gevelsberg, where he was deputy parliamentary group chairman from 1994 to 2004 and parliamentary group chairman from 2004 to 2005. Kramer is a member of the ver.di union. Since June 8, 2005, he has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, where he is a full member of the Committee for Building and Transport and the Committee for Local Policy and Administrative Structural Reform.
