Huddle is a German specialist magazine on American football . The magazine is published by Huddle-Verlag , Berlin . The magazine appears weekly as an electronic edition (eHuddle) and monthly as a print edition. The print run appears in A4 format and is around 22,500 copies (2019). Huddle has been published continuously since 1989 and celebrated its twentieth year in 2008. The magazine is available both by subscription and from newsagents.
Originally, the first day of sale of the print edition was always on Thursdays. Depending on the weekly cycle, between 51 and 53 issues appeared annually. Only 51 issues appeared, the first issue of the following year was a double issue. In addition to these individual editions, there were also two bound anthologies each year. The print edition currently appears 12 times a year with a volume of around 52 pages. The eHuddle is generally available for download on Tuesday.
In addition to the journalistic processing of the events, the huddle is the official newsletter of the AFVD and the AFV-Berlin.
The central part of the reporting is the GFL , as well as the other German leagues. Depending on the season, these topics are in the foreground from spring to autumn. Another central component are preliminary and match reports on the NFL and college football from autumn to spring. The coverage also covers the EFL , European leagues, CFL and Arena Football League .
