Hugo + Egon is a cartoon series from 1995 that was made in Germany . The show is based on the puppet show Der Müllberg calls - Stories from the Tonnental by Dieter Kussani and is about the yellow bin Hugo and the yellow sack Egon and was part of a 45 million DM (approx. 23 million euros) advertising campaign for the German dual system .

The series is assigned to the field of environmental education and focuses on the topics of recycling and waste separation . It was broadcast from 1995 on the youth channel Junior (then premiere, now Sky Germany ).
