Humsera as a fountain figure

The Humsera was a well-known original in Bamberg .

It was a gardener known for her loose mouth who sold her vegetables at the Bamberg weekly market . A fountain figure on the Green Market in the pedestrian zone of Bamberg reminds of them . In the past, however, it stood on Maxplatz .

The Bamberg dialect poet Hans Morper describes the Humsera and her tough colleagues on the Bamberg Green Market in several poems:
