Hunter Beaumont

Hunter Beaumont (* 1943 ) was president, chairman of the training committee and member of the faculty of the Gestalt Therapy Institute in Los Angeles before he came to Munich in 1980 as a visiting professor of clinical psychology .

He is internationally known as a trainer, supervisor and advocate of integrative, cross-school psychotherapy. His many lectures and publications deal with clinical psychotherapeutic questions as well as the encounter between psychotherapy and spirituality .

In his work as a therapist, as a teacher of psychotherapists and as a team supervisor, he integrates gestalt therapy , body work , object relationship theory and archetypal psychology and has a deep interest in the interface between psychotherapy and spirituality. He is co-author (together with Bert Hellinger and Gunthard Weber ) of Love's Hidden Symmetry , the first book in English about the work of Bert Hellinger.
