The Husky Dome is a dome-shaped mountain in Antarctica's Ross Dependency . At 3580 m , it is the highest point in Husky Heights in the Queen Maud Mountains .
It was named by participants in a campaign carried out from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition after their sled dogs with which they were on their way to the mountain.
