Hybrid CD

CDs with several different file systems are commonly referred to as hybrid CDs . These include, for example, data CD-ROMs with an audio CD track. In particular, but CD-ROMs are Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh hybrid CD called, on which both an ISO 9660 filesystem and an HFS + - in older CD HFS , is file system.

Hybrid CDs are used for hypertext literature and computer games (for multiple systems or with additional music). Some of them are also used on audio CDs for copy protection purposes.
