The Hyefjord is a fjord in the municipality of Gloppen in the north of the province of Vestland , Norway .

The Hyefjord is a southern branch of the Nordfjord and has a length of about 14 kilometers with a maximum width of 1.3 kilometers.

At the entrance to the fjord is the village of Hestenesøyra . The Fv615 road runs through this town and runs along the entire east coast of Hyefjord with numerous tunnels , including the crossing of Hyen on the southern tip of the fjord.

The west side of the fjord is part of the Ålfotbreen landscape protection area , which surrounds the Ålfotbreen and Gjegnalundsbreen glaciers .
