HyperDiver system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hyperdiver system is an optical process developed by researchers at the Max Planck Institute in Bremen that can be used to record the condition of coral reefs .

With the help of a combination of a special camera and a conventional digital camera, detailed maps of the underwater landscape can be generated. A single diver can collect and analyze the data of a large area in a comparatively short time and use it to create a map of the reef, on which the biodiversity of the coral reef can be seen.
