Hypodicus
Hypodicos of Chalkis was a Greek poet of the late Archaic period from Chalkis on Evia.
It is only known from a note in a historiographic inscription, the marble Parium . Then Hypodicos won the competition at the Great Dionysia in Athens in 510/509 BC. When dithyrambs were performed with a male choir for the first time .
