Þá var sent í Jötunheima eftir gýgi þeiri, he Hyrrokkin hét. En er hon kom ok reið vargi ok hafði höggorm at taumum, þá hljóp hon af hestinum, en Óðinn kallaði til berserki fjóra at gæta hestsins, ok fengu þeir eigi haldit, nema þeir felldi hann. Þá gekk Hyrrokkin á framstafn nökkvans ok hratt fram í fyrsta viðbragði, svá at eldr hraut ór hlunnunum ok lönd öll skulfu. Þá varð Þórr reiðr ok greip hamarinn ok myndi þá brjóta Höfuð hennar, áðr en goðin öll báðu henni friðar. Guðni Jónsson's edition

So the sir took Baldur's body and took it to sea. Hringhorn was called Baldur's ship, it was the largest of all ships. The gods wanted to push that off the beach and burn Baldur's corpse on it; but the ship did not move. Then they sent to Jotunheim for the giant woman, whose name was Hyrrockin, and when she came she rode a wolf that was bridled with a snake. When she had jumped off the horse, Odhin called four berserkers to hold it; but they could do it no other than by throwing it down. Then Hyrrockin stepped to the fore part of the ship and pushed it forward with the first touch, so that fire came out of the cylinders and all lands trembled. Then Thor was angry and reached for the hammer and would have smashed her head if all the gods had not asked for peace.
