The Hytrans Fire System (HFS) is a component from disaster control in Germany , which is used as a roll-off container for pumping water.

material

The system consists of a pump module, a basic container with a hose container and equipment compartments as well as the hose holder. The pump module consists of a hydraulic unit driven by a diesel engine, which drives the swimming pump via appropriate hoses. The system uses 2000 m of F-hoses. There are also slides, distributors (F-5B), coupling keys and hose bridges.

technology

The delivery rate in bilge operation is approx. 8,000 l / min at 2.5 bar and in pressure operation approx. 3,000 l / min at 10 bar. This depends on lifting height and the length of the track. The F-line can be laid up to a speed of 40 km / h. The six-cylinder diesel engine, which is housed in the removable pump module and drives the driven hydraulic pump, has 200 hp. The hydraulic lines are connected via a swimming pump 60 m long.

Alternatives

In order to convey 4000 l / min over the same distance, 5 SW 2000 and 12 LF 20/16 or similar would alternatively be required. Hose bridges must also be installed before the hose line is filled .
