IAP measuring mast Beijing
The measuring mast of the Institute for Atmospheric Physics ( IAP measuring mast for short ) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a 325 meter high meteorological measuring mast in Beijing , China, erected in August 1979 . It is one of the tallest meteorological masts in the world and at the time of its completion may have been the tallest structure in China. The Beijing IAP measuring mast also has a webcam at a height of 280 meters.
