IEEE 802.11j

IEEE 802.11j is an extension of the IEEE 802.11 standard for WLANs for the 4.9 GHz - 5 GHz range, which was approved for the Japanese market in 2004 . 802.11j WLANs achieve a maximum gross data rate of 54 Mbit / s.
