IMAG
The IMAG GmbH ( International Convention and Exhibition Company ) is a subsidiary of Messe München GmbH and Germany's oldest international exhibition company. The Munich- based company organizes its own trade fairs and participations in trade fairs for public and private clients around the world.
IMAG GmbH was founded by Joachim Hietzig in Munich in 1946 and has so far been involved in over 5000 international exhibitions.
IMAG's portfolio currently includes around 30 trade fairs in around 20 countries, particularly in the automotive, commercial vehicle and supplier industries; Construction machinery, building materials and mining; Production machines and other industries; Environmental technology and analytics.
The events include, for example, the world's largest auto show, Auto Shanghai , whose European co-organizer is IMAG, analytica Vietnam and IranConMin.
As the official implementation company, IMAG also organizes joint appearances by companies at selected foreign trade fairs on behalf of various ministries. These so-called joint stands or country pavilions enable German companies to exhibit at reduced stand prices under the label “made in Germany”.
