INURA

INURA (International Network for Urban Research and Action) is a non-governmental organization that was founded in 1991 on the initiative of Richard Wolff and has its headquarters in Zurich . She deals with the current problems of urbanization and globalization that arise for humans.

There are offices in 16 countries. Some members regularly take part in international conferences on urban development or globalization issues, such as B. at the World Social Forum , which took place in March 2005 in Porto Alegre , Brazil .
