IQ - science and research

IQ - Science and Research is a radio broadcast by Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR). It runs on weekdays from 6:05 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Bayern 2 . A magazine is broadcast here on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and a monothematic feature by the Knowledge and Research editors on Tuesday and Thursday. Until 2004 the program was called Kugelblitz .

The program reports on current scientific topics from all areas of the German and international research landscape. Background reports on important scientific questions such as B. science fraud, new cancer therapies, climate change or brain doping complete the program.

The program is broadcast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the form of a moderated magazine, each with four short articles and a block with (usually three) short messages. Mono-thematic programs run on Tuesday and Thursday. IQ - Wissenschaft und Forschung is one of the most successful science programs on German radio and one of the most frequently accessed podcasts from Bayern 2 .
