The ISO standard 11088 is a standard of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and specifies assembly, adjustment and inspection procedures for ski bindings as well as the international standards for skis , ski boots and bindings. It also specifies the setting of the Z value , which indicates the force required to release the binding, for the various requirements of the skier.
The standard is also published in Germany as a DIN standard .
