I Can is a song by British pop - boy band Blue from the year 2011. It was the British contribution to the Euro Vision Song Contest 2011 in Dusseldorf , reaching there with 100 points in eleventh place.

Appearances

During an appearance on the BBC Breakfast on February 9, 2011, Blue stated that they wrote the song before being asked if they would represent the UK in the 2011 Eurovision Contest. The group describes the song as a "mix of pop, anthem and the typical blue sound". On February 12, 2011, Blue began their promo tour with an appearance at the Malta Eurosong 2011 . Since I Can wasn't fully produced yet, the group sang their hit If You Come Back . On February 18th, another appearance with Breathe Easy followed at the Spanish final Destino Eurovisión for the Eurovision Song Contest. A promo video, with the blue London skyline in the background, was also posted on BBC One. The group also sang I Can at the Comic Relief Presents Glee Club on March 17, 2011 and the Italian version of Top of the Pops on March 21, 2011. The official music video for I Can was on April 14, 2011 and the song even released as a single on May 1, 2011.
