action

The impetuous Taichi Sagawa is looking for a part-time job to finance his student life, but is repeatedly turned away because he often gets into disputes. By chance he stumbles across the hard of hearing Kohei Sugihara, who is looking for someone to take notes in lectures for him. So Taichi finds extra income with him, which the voracious boy often takes in the form of lunch, and the two spend a lot of time together. Taichi also protects Kohei against gossip and thus gets into another argument with other students. Kohei has largely given up contact with others because he feels like a burden for others and it bothers him if he is treated differently because of his disability. Girls in particular are often too pushy for him. Taichi behaves normally and Kohei can understand his loud voice well. He finally succeeds in getting Kohei to open up to others. But to protect Kohei, Taichi also turns away a girl who wants a date with Kohei.

But Kohei's illness worsens and threatens to completely remove his hearing at some point. He withdraws again and avoids contact with Taichi because he is afraid that he will no longer understand him and is insecure when he learns about Taichi's meeting with the girl. Then Kohei wants to break off contact completely and look for someone else to take notes. Taichi does not let up and confronts Kohei why he wants to exclude him and others from his life. Then Kohei confesses his love to him. Taichi still wants to help him and get closer to him. And Kohei tries to open up to others and to accept their help.
