Rūta Rikterė
Rūta Rikterė ( Ibelgauptienė ; born January 2, 1963 in Elektrėnai ) is a Lithuanian pianist and music teacher, professor at the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy .
Life
From 1981 to 1986 she completed her studies with Jurgis Karnavičius senior and from 1987 to 1988 continued her education at the Lietuvos valstybinė konservatorija in Vilnius . Since 1988 she has been playing in a duet with Zbignevas Ibelgauptas . From 1989 she taught at the Lietuvos konservatorija , from 1999 as a lecturer. She teaches as a professor in the piano department at the Music Faculty of the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy . In 1997 she was awarded Lietuvos nacionalinė kultūros ir meno premija (with Z. Ibelgauptas).
